On April 9 two new cub officers were elected.   Josh Kittle KC8OZA as President and Scott Swink KB8JOY as Vice-President.   We welcome both into their new roles and are glad to have them.   Both men are very dedicated to building up the club.

Business meetings will now only be held in January, March, May, June, July, August, and November.   There may be a program of some type held every month.

Join us these Fridays at 7:30pm, in our Harrison St. Clubhouse.

W8FW-1   145.050 mhz
MAILBOX INFO  The W8FW-1 is a “EXPERIMENTAL” Mailbox put on by The Miami County Amateur Radio Club. The Mailbox has recently been upgraded, and is now on air 24/7. The purpose of this Mailbox is to determine if there is any interest with Packet Radio operation in Miami County.

W8FW-1 is very small and simple. The system runs 1200 baud packet using a PK232 TNC with only 18KB RAM storage. The system transmits an ID Beacon every 5 minutes it is on the air listening. Please let me know if your interested in packet radio. I may consider upgrading the system if there is enough interest.
